If you like to write, you already have one of the greatest tools at your disposal to generate traffic to your online business website.

What was it the voice kept telling Robert Redford? ”Build it and they will come.”

Well my friend, it’s not that easy. You have to point them in the right direction first.  If Google doesn’t know your website exists, how will anyone else? Publishing an ezine article is by far the most effective way to get Google to stand up and take notice. A single article can accomplish miracles in the SEO arena.

There are several main objectives to writing an ezine article. The most important of which is obvious, creating the kind of keyword magic that will put Google in a tail spin wondering where you’ve been all its lonely cyber life.

But keep in mind it’s not just about creating keyword magic.

You want to write an article that people enjoy reading and deem informative. This is the key to developing a readership. The best approach is to write a strong enough article to make other article websites want to add your content to their sites. It is not at all uncommon to see a single author’s article plastered all over the web. This proliferation will establish a presence over and over again for your online business. With each new back link your website stands a better chance of higher rankings.

To get the biggest bang for your key strokes keep the following tips in mind. Follow these simple rules and you will be rewarded with an abundance of internet traffic.

Let keywords boost your ranking

If a tree falls in the woods and there’s no one there to hear it, does it make a sound?

You can write the best article in your niche and it won’t matter if no one gets to read it. In order to read it, they have to be able to find it first. This isn’t rocket science here.

Before you sit down to write an ezine article, you must have a solid SEO strategy in place. You may not necessarily want to draft your article around the most sought after keywords in your market. Many authors choose to base their article around keywords that don’t generate as high a competition. In doing so, they zoom up to the top ranking using similar keywords. Pick your SEO strategy accordingly. If you don’t get the desired results, you can always write another article.

Be sure to write an article that is relevant to your key word terms. For instance, you don’t want “work at home business” listed in your keyword box if the phrase work at home business doesn’t appear any where in your article.  Search engine spiders look at your keyword tags first. Then they go through your article searching for those same phrases. The more relevant your article is to its key word search parameters, the higher your article will be ranked once it is posted.

It is common practice to use the main keyword in the first paragraph and again in the last paragraph. Then strategically deploy four or five similar keywords throughout the article’s content.

Just make sure to compose your article is such a way as to not sound redundant to the reader. You don’t want to insert keywords just for the sake of inserting them. A word of caution, keyword stuffing can result in lower rankings with Google.

Once you determine the keywords your article will be based upon, focus on seamless implementation. You want your article to flow naturally. You don’t want your reader tripping over your keywords. You want to incorporate them in such a way that you retain the reader’s interest.

Get them there and keep them there

Why write an article to begin with?

Article Submission = Free Traffic. What a beautiful equation!

The more people that read your article, the better the chance you have of someone clicking over to your website from the author’s resource box. You are not allowed to use an ezine article as a glorified sales pitch.  The resource box, however, can be used to promote your online business and actually get someone to your website. The ultimate goal in writing an article to begin with is to make a sale. Isn’t it? If you’re trying to find a way to make money online, you bet it is!

The more people who click over to your website from the resource box, the better the chance of you turning a profit off the time you’ve spent at your keyboard. Therefore, maintaining your reader’s interest is crucial.  If they click away from your article before they make it down to the resource box, you’ve pretty much wasted your time.

You need to grab their attention immediately and keep it. If you have a good sense of humor, use it.  Empathy is yet another approach. A reader that relates to you, or feels you relate to them, will take the time to hear what you have to say. If these don’t suite your style, you can never go wrong with good, solid content. Once you get them there, you want to keep them there.

Don’t make the mistake of writing a strong article just to have your reader disappointed when they get to your website. If they came in search of relevant information, it must be there for them.  If it’s not, they’ll click off your site before Google even knew they were there. What was that? Did I hear a chuckle in the background?

Something you may not be aware of. Google’s algorithms take into account the average amount of time a person spends on your website when determining its ranking.

Let your article build its own call to action

The ultimate goal is to make money online.

The purpose of an article is to pull the reader in. They are already interested in the subject matter or they would not be reading the article to begin with.

There is no real need to employ catch phrases or a call to action in what is meant to be an informative article. Many of your readers will see a sales pitch coming a mile away.

Your website undoubtedly already contains a call to action. Why should your article too?

Instead, let your article build the reader’s interest. Capture their attention with relevant content and allow that attention, that spark of interest, to guide them to the inevitable conclusion. An article supporting legitimate reasons for taking action will lead to action being taken.

Never under estimate the power of anchor text

If you read this article carefully, you were able to pick out the keywords I am optimizing for.  In case you are the greenest of newbies, I’ll list them for you;

Online business, home based business, work at home business, make money online

These will all be listed in the keyword box for this article.

In case you’re not aware of this, these are highly competitive terms. But didn’t I say earlier that it may be in your best interest to write an article based around less competitive terms? As a matter of fact, I did!

Here in lies the mystical power of anchor text. What is anchor text? It is the magic formula that hides your website from your reader’s eye while inducing them to Click Here!  All the reader sees is the hyper link that whisks them away on a magic carpet ride straight to your website or landing page.

If you’re not already familiar with anchor text format, simply Google hypertext or anchor text. I tried repeatedly to provide the format for you, but the ezine editor kept insisting on converting my example into an actual hypertext link even without the proper http:// designation attachment.

Note:

Please make sure to include the http:// (and www designation if applicable). You want your entire domain name with no spaces in the designated section. If your domain name does not appear underlined and in typical hyperlink coloration (blue or purple) when you are finished, then you have done something wrong.

Did you know that if you type the words Click Here into the Google search engine 1,360,000,000 results will pop up? And why is that? It might have something to do with the fact that for years webmasters used Click Here hyper links to induce a call to action to what was then a much less sophisticated internet user.  By placing the term Click Here there was no longer any doubt left as to what you were suppose to do.

Search engine spiders place serious emphasis on anchor text. If you look in my resource box, you will note that there are two Hyper links in the text;

Residual income and Affiliate Marketing

Why is that, the newbie might ask. Because anchor text pulls much more weight with the search engines than regular text. Therefore, I have placed the utmost emphasis on the keywords residual income and affiliate marketing. These terms are much less competitive than terms such as make money on line.

Affiliate marketing appeals to the online marketer looking for the next big affiliate program to promote. Residual income appeals to anyone seeking to establish a long term income with an online business. This article will stand a much better chance of reaching a page one ranking in the search results for these keyword phrases then it will with the more competitive terms.

Here’s one final tip before you submit your article for publication;

Never submit your article the same day you write it! Come back refreshed and detached the next day. You will be amazed how many simple mistakes you read right over the day before. A fresh set of eyes will help you see how to finish shaping your article into the masterpiece you meant it to be.

Conclusion

A well written SEO article is not just a string of sentences used to camouflage strategic keywords. An SEO article is a platform. It can be used to accomplish several goals; provide information, spark a reader’s interest, and ultimately bring them to your website. Your ezine article, when penned correctly, can generate internet traffic and sales without it costing you a dime. And that one submission that makes it to a page one ranking can continue to generate income for years to come.

With cut-throat competition on the Internet, it isn’t very easy to catch a fish online. You first have to create your niche among them, which can easily be done through effective article marketing techniques. Communicating valuable information about your niche market makes you look like an expert in the eyes of potential customers. Persuasive information may entice them to visit your website through back links that are incorporated in the article content and in the resource box at the end of every article. Back links thereby plays an important role in article marketing.

Higher search engine rankings with relevant back links in the articles

Relevant back links makes your website a strong contender to vouch for higher search engine rankings. So, article marketing via listing back links is used as an extension of essential SEO link building campaigns.

Well-written and informative articles spread like a forest fire on the Internet. Once you have distributed your articles with your company’s URL in several online article directories, many small webmasters copy it from there and place it on their website along with the resource box that contains the back link to your company’s website. Hence, if your article is informative and nicely crafted, it may give you several permanent inbound links. This ultimately boosts your search engine ranking.

You must hire a professional SEO Company to take charge of your article marketing campaign. They strive to make necessary inbound links in the submitted articles that divert targeted traffic to your website and soon lead you to topmost position on the Search Engine Result Pages (SERPs).

Submission to the right article directories

SEO experts know that the articles need to be syndicated to SEO friendly article directories to get the maximum benefit of the written articles. For instance, some article directories do not allow HTML tags that are necessary to be recognized by the web spiders and some are no-follow. So, it is better to avoid submission with such directories.

Properly implemented article marketing campaign with submission to right article directories help your articles indexed quickly. Besides, the search engine ranking of the article directory itself is another important concern that must be taken care of. Only the article directory that has higher search engine rankings would promise good marketing of your articles and give you an added advantage.

Hence, effective and professional article marketing service is especially beneficial for new online business to draw the attention of web spiders in no time and get the most coveted rankings in the search engine results.

Article marketing and social bookmarking

Another novel way that gives a great boost to your article marketing campaign is the social bookmarking. Bookmarking approved articles from the article directories at the popular do-follow sites such as digg.com, facebook and others is a great idea. These sites ensure maximum exposure and targeted traffic to your articles as the site members can publicly share their favorite web pages.

Therefore, you can avail the maximum benefit of article marketing campaigns if it is executed by professional SEO Company that is proficient in the field.

Since you will be submitting your article on to free article directories your articles will be free for webmasters to pick up and put up on their websites. This further opens a plethora of opportunities to attract more traffic as your informative article gets published on different websites containing back links.

Why hire article writers for the SEO? That is a question that many online companies are asking themselves these days.

The internet has really changed a lot about the way things are done in our world. Just thirty years ago, barely anyone used the internet and we were far less connected than we are today. The advent of email, online business, worldwide news, and product promotion has completely revolutionised the world as we know it.

At first, few people had personal computers, and even those who did had limited access to the internet. That has all changed now. People all around the world have internet access and personal computers that allow them to get online whenever they want. This is truly an amazing step in the evolution of mankind, and it means a new day has arrived for the printed word as we once knew it.

More and more writing is being published and posted online. This is good for the environment because we are no longer using as much paper to print out written works. This is also good news for companies that are thinking about why they should hire article writers.

It used to be that only journalism professionals and publishers were able to reach large numbers of readers. This is no longer the case. The internet has made it possible for millions of independent voices to be heard. This is why it is a good idea to hire article writers. There is no limit to the number of perspectives and voices that you can access on the web. Countless freelance writers are posting their work online.

If you take a moment to think about it, you will probably realise that the internet is a constantly evolving piece of human art that blends absolutely everything we care about into one huge resource. This is a resource that has proven to be priceless for our development. The fact that you can read what people are writing in another country across the globe is simply stunning.

To think that you can easily post your thoughts, your products, and your services on a page accessible to everyone around the world is really liberating. Given how huge the market has grown for international business and communication, it is no wonder that people have discovered why hiring article writers is a great move.

The communication industry is changing constantly. Learning how to maximise your effectiveness on the web can lead to major gains for your business or whatever organisation it is you want to promote. Why hire article writers? Because there are countless professionals out there who have experience writing specific types of content that can be used for your website.

Directory submission is a popular way to get articles about your business or service into readers’ hands. Imagine how many people you can reach with an online article as compared to an ad in the local newspaper. The numbers are not even close.

Link building is another popular strategy. Article writers are hired to take charge of your link building campaign. The internet is all about networking. Businesses thrive on networking, so this is a logical connection to make. Linking up with other businesses and organisations through articles and online campaigns has been shown to produce very positive results. Getting your name or the name of your organisation out there is the first step to achieving significant gains.

Website promotion is what lies at the heart of article writing in most cases. Of course, you can hire article writers for just about anything. However, most people want to promote their websites and generate more traffic. When you generate traffic to your website, you are substantially improving your chances of success.

If you are selling products, then you will have more potential customers. If you are advertising a service, you will have more potential clients. If you are promoting a band, you will get more listeners and add to your fan base. If you are promoting a charitable cause or an event, then you will boost the number of people involved. Traffic is what drives success, so a good writing campaign can really make a big difference. Informative articles for your website are a great promotional tool.

Search engine optimisation, or SEO as it is often called, is an incredibly effective method that can improve your visibility greatly. When you think of ideas as to why hire article writers, this is one of the areas that immediately come to mind. The basic concept here is to modify articles that are written for your company or website. These articles are customised to improve search engine results. When you type in a search on Google, Yahoo or MSN/Live, a list pops up. That list is influenced by the keywords and other content in each page or article. There are literally millions of listings, so getting to the top of that list can be hard.

That is where article writers come in. They can work on content that will target certain words and generate more traffic by improving your standings in search engine results. You might have a great website, but it does not mean much if nobody ever visits it. Search engine optimisation will help you achieve the visibility necessary to generate significant traffic to your site. There are some other methods that can help with regard to this, but SEO has certainly been proven to work.

Blogging has become a very popular communication method. Why hire article writers for blogs? The answer is simple. Pretty much anyone can blog these days. Whilst it is great that everyone is able to express their views and opinions, it also creates a situation in which there is a highly saturated market. Quantity can dominate quality in this respect. When it comes to content for your website, you are going to want quality. You could have a whole bunch of articles, but if they are not very good, then people will probably not respond positively. On the other hand, a few good article writers can create quality content that produces positive results.

Internet content grows every single day. Good websites will always have fresh content and quality writing that communicates the goals, products, services, and purpose of any business or organisation.

If you want to keep up with the rest of the pack, then it is important to ask yourself a simple question. Why hire article writers? Consider the information in this article as an introduction to the answer.

Your website content is what defines you for the readers around the globe. The importance of this fact cannot be forgotten. Look for professional service providers to get the online written content you need.

Use Article Marketing To Obtain Higher Search Engine Rankings

Interested in getting your website in the top 10?  You are not alone!

The world wide web is a great way to gain exposure in whatever you do. Having a website gives you the ability to have publicity and to be seen by people from all over the world.

Just having a website does not get you instant recognition.  It is earned by strategically marketing your business and website.  Remember, by putting up a website you are immediately entering yourself into a competition. The World Wide Web has become so saturated with websites, it’s nearly impossible to be noticed… unless you have a plan.

The easiest way to be found on the web is to be listed in the search engines, such as Google or Yahoo.  You can easily do this by paying to be seen by using Google Adwords or Yahoo Marketing.   This can be effective, but expensive.

Ultimately, you want to have your website to show up naturally on the front page of the search engines.  Follow these 8 simple steps towards optimizing your website and you will see a positive difference in your website ranking.

1.  Comprise a list of search terms you want people to find your site with.  For starters, this should be 3-5 word search strings.  i.e. McDowell Mountain Ranch Real Estate or Toledo Organic Dry Cleaners.  Something that is specific to your business or hobby.

2.  Load your website with original content.  Take the time to write the information in your own words.  Search engines will not give you credit for someone else’s work.

3.   Add the key words from item 1 to your content on several different pages of your website.  For example, it is better to have 500 pages with your key words listed once than to have 1 page with your keywords 500 times.

4.    Know your target market.  Write content that will interest them and bring them back for more.

5.   Add fresh content daily or as often as possible.  Ideas to keep your site fresh include blogging, writing articles, interviewing people, and adding polls or RSS feeds.

6.   Keep your site for an extended period of time.  There are many sites that come and go on the world wide web.  The longer your site is around, the higher the search engines will rank you.

7.  Drive people to your website by sending out flyers, sending out mailers, emails, writing articles, blogging, linking to other sites and gaining as much exposure as possible.

8.  Submit your site to the search engines on a monthly basis.  There are many search engine submission websites. Some are free and others charge a fee.  Google “search engine submissions” to find one you like. Either way, you must submit to the search engines or your site will not be seen.

As your site ages and gets more information, you will see a higher ranking for your website.  This does not happen overnight, but by consistently adding information, you will create a website that provides value to the end user.  And ultimately, that is what the search engines are looking for… Providing good information that the end user wants.

Websites are fun to own, work on and benefit from.  However, they can take a substantial amount of time.  Have a strategy and work your strategy.  You will see the best results and have the most satisfaction with your website.  Enjoy!

1. Link Building

2. Article Writing & Distribution

3. Press Release Writing & Distribution

4. Pay Per Click Advertising

5. Social Networking

6. Blogging

SEO or Search Engine Optimization as a standalone methodology is dead as a doornail. Dead, kaput, deceased – wandering around waiting to be buried. Trying to accomplish high search engine ranking using SEO alone is a losing proposition at best and website suicide in most instances.

So, what’s a webmaster to do? The term “webmaster” means staying on top of what drives successful, targeted traffic to your website. It means staying up later than the average guy, reading, discovering and learning the cutting edge of what it takes to make your site successful.

In the beginning, you could throw up any kind of page and get people to visit. Quality webpages were few and far between, and it was just astounding that you could get type on a page that others could view. Then came the keyword, the meta tag, the phrase, the optimization, software considered downright primitive in today’s world that would tell you your page was a cut above the pack. These days are long gone.

In order to get around the dead horse of SEO standalone, you need to be ready to add links, backlinks and quality backlinks. You need to be able to do more than string three words together. Today’s readers are savvy. They want real information; don’t deliver junky, slapped together, non-researched splats of content and expect to maintain traffic and credibility. Today it is all about quality content, unique and different – that delivers a message that is both interesting and informative.

To basic optimization, you need to add things like blogging, dynamic updating, social networking that can be press release driven with a landing page that commands attention. Use the checklist below to smarten up your pages and make them more than SEO optimized. Knowing what makes them hum, what spiders love will make your pages more than just web-ready. They will become traffic magnets.

Let’s Talk Keywords

If you remember nothing else remember to put your keyword or keyword phrase in the PUT YOUR KEYWORD HERE. Many folks overlook this and just like that the spider glides on by – uninformed. If you are adding things like social bookmarking and blogging to your site and you forget this, you might as well be holding up a sign in a sandstorm.

Keywords in the URL do help. Remember if you are just redirecting a keyword URL to your website to use a 301 Redirect which is the most efficient and Search Engine Friendly method for webpage redirection. Anybody who tells you differently is not up on the latest trends. The search engines do take note of your keyword as part of your URL. For 8.95 or less, you can get that small edge on your keyword. Most people are using PHP or ASP these days on either an Apache or Windows server. Here’s the 301 redirect codes that will get your pages moving if you aren’t using someone like GoDaddy.com to register your domains and utilizing their convenient 301 redirect features.

Keywords in your anchor text from another side. Called an inbound link, this is like getting a vote from another site. Be sure and have your keyword or keyword phrase as part of that vote.

Keywords in your tags. Yes, it is your headline. It’s important. It’s rated by search engines and if your keyword is part of it, it’s rated higher. But be sure that it’s also part of your body text or you will probably upset the spiders. Never upset the spiders or you’ll be on page 11 million for your keyword.

Keywords in the tags. Alt tags are what your page displays when the pictures can’t be found or someone browses your page with pictures turned off. Spiders also read the tags so if you have your keyword in there then viola, more credit for your page.

Article Writing and Distribution

There are a number of article directories where you can distribute your articles with your resource box promoting you website. You will want to write relevant, short quality articles that build curiosity for your website. You do not want to write articles longer than 500-600 words for article directories.

Articles as Bait

On your website, you will want to have longer, informative articles on a specific subject related to your website’s topic. Called linkbait, these articles are designed to inform and educate your readership on relative topics. This is not what articles for article directories are all about. They are curiosity builders. You write 300-400 words on a topic to demonstrate your knowledge on that topic. You include a resource or author’s box back to your website where you can present a long, in-depth version of your material.

One important thing to remember when writing articles for directories. Each must be different and unique from each other and each one must be different than the one on your website. If you duplicate them for the various article directories and they all have inbound links to the same content on your main website, you will kill your page rank and credibility. If you can remember that article directories get you quickly indexed and offer a curiosity booster that acts as a portal to your main website, then you’ll write accordingly.

Most article directories require at least 400 words on a topic which is not that easy to produce, but you want to save your main features for your own website and not the article directory.

Through these directories, you’ll receive a ton of backlinks as other websites use your content on their website. However, none of it will match what’s on your own website, so it won’t be considered duplicate content just inbound links.

Press Releases Are An Overlooked, Great Process

If you can write news copy, you can write a decent press release which will get your website a ton of exposure. You will want to put out a website for the following reasons:

- To announce your new website and what it’s all about

- New products and services that you add to your website

- Reviews of various themed parts of your website

- Expansion and additions of note.

Using press releases in this fashion will always guarantee a steady stream of visitors in that a well-written press release will usually be picked up by other sites and rewritten and added to their new repository which increases the number of incoming links you’ll receive.

Pay Per Click Advertising

Using pay-per-click advertising is another way to get almost instant traffic to your website. Utilizing PPC giants like Google and Yahoo, you can pay for visitors to your website. You list small, contextually based advertising which is published across their network of websites and interested people click on your advertising and arrive at your site. This is one of the quickest ways to get traffic to arrive, but it can be costly to get started. Pay-Per-Click lets you advertise to the whole of the online community.

There are also text link advertising, classified advertising and pay-per-post advertising where you can get other bloggers to blog for money about your product or service on your website. It is a variation of PPC in that bloggers will write and review your site or service for a small fee and list you for a set period of time on their website. It adds content to their site and gives you more than just a link back to your site.

Social Networking and Social News sites

Web 2.0 and social networking is another whole article in itself, but it is the second fastest way to get traffic rolling into your site. To get the ball rolling and to give you some ideas on where to start, let’s look at the basics of social news networking. We want to separate this from social bookmarking which is for personal use. Social news networking is for when you want to advertising you business, home business or professional site. It’s about providing news to the world about who and what you are, the benefits you offer and why they should stop by.

Some of the better news sites where you can post your short articles include: Netscape, Newsvine, StumbleUpon, Digg and OnlyWire to name a few. These sites are news-hungry just waiting for information about your website. Whatever your site is about will be quickly and effectively disseminated by posting on these websites.

Considered the second generation in online marketing, social networking is all about building communities of like minded individuals who are looking for certain things. You website is taken into a group and depending on your service or product, people arrive at your website because of the tags and text you provide to the online community. There are as many social news and networking sites as there are interests, but the main ones to start with are listed but by no means complete.

As an operator of a professional article distribution service, I get questions all the time from customers about SEO, article marketing, link building, and press releases. It would probably take a whole book to address all the questions in details. But here are some of the most common questions that I’ve encountered. Hopefully, you find them useful.

Q: Why perform article marketing at all?

You do article marketing for 2 reasons: direct traffic from the links in your author resource box and for SEO purposes. When you write and submit your articles for publication, you are allowed to include 2 or 3 links at the end of the articles. These are what we usually refer to as “back links”. The more back links you have from authority and well established sites, the higher rankings your web pages will get.

Therefore, article marketing is one of the best way to give you long term traffic. You get traffic from the articles AND the search engines month after month.

Q: What is the difference between article submission and press releases?

Traditionally, press releases are used as stories to capture the attention of news agents, in the hope that the stories will be published and the business owners get free publicity. However, the game is very different on the Internet.

Press release on the Internet is becoming more and more about link building. Press releases are sold based on active links included in the press releases. In other words, if you want live links in your press releases, be prepared to pay a price for it.

In this aspect, press releases and article submission are similar. Both can be used to build back links for SEO purposes. However, news releases are often indexed by news engines such as Google News, Yahoo News, and MSN News. These news aggregators are responsible for delivering news to millions of online visitors each month. So if you get your news releases into those indexes, you will get immediate exposure; at least until your news becomes outdated.

If you are just starting out, you should issue press releases and do article distributions for maximum results. Press releases will get you the immediate attention you need, and the articles will get you long term traffic.

Q: Does article marketing really work for SEO?

I get this question a lot. And the short answer is, “Yes!” I don’t care what the experts say. I only believe in the results that I see. Time after time, customers have reported improved in search engine rankings after submitting just a few articles to several hundred article directories. It is not uncommon to see an internal page ranking in page 7 or 10 of the search results to jump to page 1 or 2 in just a few short weeks. If you can get 1 page to rank, you can get 10 pages to rank. That’s how you can continue to scale your traffic.

Q: How many articles should I submit per week?

For every website you promote, you should shoot for at least 250 articles to get any kind of viable traction. Anything less than that, you may not get enough traffic for your internet business to work. It takes time and patience to write and submit 250 articles. Logically speaking, you should be able to write 10 decent articles per day. That depends on how fast you can write. If you want to go the fast route, outsource all your article writing.

In fact, there are tons of examples of highly successful internet marketers who are earning a good income just by using article marketing alone. Pretty impressive stuff. So there is little doubt that article marketing does indeed work!

, , ,

Search engine ranking can be improved by the proper use of article marketing, and many merketers achieve high search engine listings using articles. If you understand how search engines work to calculate their search engine results positions, then you can use that understanding to achive very high serch engine rankings.

In the current economic climate when every dollar counts, you need a high search engine ranking to help you to achieve success, and article marketing provides you with a way of doing that.

That is not to infer that other means of promoting your website are not worth considering but it is a fact that an increasing number of articles are appearing in the Google listings for specific keywords. In fact, it is difficult at times to find a Google results page without at least one article listed on the page of an article directory. That in itself is sufficient incentive for anybody to use article marketing to improve their search engine ranking and so the traffic to their website.

So how do you do it? How do you get your article listed in page 1 of Google, as many of them are? YOU don’t really hav much to do when you use article directoris to promote your articles, because they do all the hard SEO, while all you have to do is to use your keywords in the article without overdoing it, and provide good relevant content through use of vocabulary.

Although this is popularly known as LSI (latent semantic indexing) it isn’t really, because LSI is a concept as opposed to an SEO technique. What people really mean when using the term is that your text should contain vocabulary that relates to the keyword in a way that makes it clear to search engine algorithms just what the topic of your article is. Google will notice if you get it right: that is because Google regards the LSI algorithm of extreme importance in determining the relevance of your article to the keyword used by the Google user.

When writing articles, and using SEO to optimize them, never lose sight of the fact that the most important party here is the Google customer using the search engine to find information using the search term they have entered into the Google search box. Google will analyze every web page, including article directory pages, to find content that is most related to the keyword that Google customer is using.
